Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model and record artist and television host has been awarded numerous accolades in her time. Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina native to Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian attorney. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father wed Ojales who was a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan, in 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also performs as an actress. Clare was a sister-in-law on the family of their father. She died at just 4 months old in 2007.
